Got my first game this Saturday. Apparently I'm manager again and my team is looking troublesome. We have some good arms but we don't have a decent starting catcher.
I'm not the best framer but I have a gun to second, so I might consider catching a few exhibition games to see if I have what it takes. Who will play 3B though?

In my little league years I had a very fluid and effective frame, but horrible throwing arm to second...accurate just no pop due to a wussy arm. For what it's worth for framing I was taught to move as much as possible with rotating the wrist and as little as possible with the arm.

Went 2-2 with a double and 3 rbi's in my first pre-season game. Worked back from two 1-2 counts to get to full counts. It was only 10c outside and windy as fuck, I'm feeling sore this morning.
I like the team, and I like being coach again. We got the Braves jerseys this year - all white and baggy. We look like old tyme ballers.
