Nationwide Arena
Columbus, OH
A game finally on Eastern Time, but it does me no good on Sportsnet Pacific and Ohio's local Fox. Oh well.
Taylor Pyatt is in the lineup, according to TEAM 1040.
Kris "Wreck" Beech had better score a hat trick against his briefly former team, otherwise his commitment to the game will be questioned. _________________

I totally forgot Beech is playing his former team , I was thinking only Kesler had a "meaningful game"
With that in mind , I agree , Beech already put up a stinker in his debut game and Ill be disappointed if he shows nothing in this so called "payback" game. SHow the team who waived you they made a mistake...
Canucks will need Beech and Kesler playing big games , they're pretty much going with an AHL roster when you look at it. Should be a rough tough game , I would think its also going to be tight checking and boring as hell ... which is fine by me caz Im gonna miss the majority of the game so , just win!!!! |

3-2 CBJ after 40 minutes... Beech and Daniel score. So much for the team tightening up after giving up 9 goals in the last three games . And they are 0-14-1 when trailing after 2 periods. _________________ ... Because the old one, is well, old.

Uh, Wreck Beach is famous across Canada. It's not exactly a secret. You guys are no good at keeping secrets. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. Something exists West of Ontario.
I've always heard of something like that, but that was from my Great Grandfather, and he was quite senile at the time. _________________

In fact, on the old OTP I remember a conversation we were having on Wreck Beach. Starring Farang, naturally. Pun intended.
It was on the CBC's nominations for the 7 Wonders of Canada. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. But what the hell can I say? Anything that doesn't mention that I masturbate over her memory is probably a good idea."

Yeah, but Hammer's from California, is he not?
(I mean, I know he's toured around the world, from London to the Bay, but still). _________________

Im a proud Vancouverite but I have to say Wreck beach is overrated imo. I would only recommend it for;
A) nudists trapped in a non nudist society
B) hippies , caz you can smoke up ,drink , frolic in the bushes with bushy people and not be harrassed or be judged.
C) young dudes who cant get into strip joints but be warned , for every cute girl there's like 6-7 old hippies straddling a log next to you selling you beer.
D) young peeps looking for a place for a bush party caz the cops dont check there caz there's a steep hike to get to the beach.. cops lazy to hike? go figure.
E) UBC students looking for a place to study for exams. Word association could be really fun.
F) Mr Roper like perverts with binoculars.
Otherwise , many other great beaches to hit out here... no nudity but way more good lookin women. |

CL> That's pretty much the same with all nude beaches, isn't it? Just more hippies in the Lower Mainland than usual. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater.
