Anyone watching this game on TSN/VS.?
What a fantastic battle between two of the league's best players. If you don't love this it's time to find a new favourite sport. _________________ Beat my drum down in Mexico! To Tijuana, Tijuana here we go!

Not to forget Niklas Bäckstrom, either.
Come on, Caps, get the bonus point. _________________ It's backwards time. |

Fuckin' Poti... but that was a weak, weak call, particularly in OT. _________________ It's backwards time. |

Now that was a penalty. Sucks that Washington still has to ice the immobile goon Erskine for a PK.
And Washington kills it!
The OT finishes with rare 5 on 5 play in OT because there was no whistle after the penalties expire.
Hell of a PK by Liang and Steckel. _________________ It's backwards time. |

Pittsburgh doesn't use Malkin in the shootout and lose. Idiots. You use one of your "specialists" as the 4th, you always use your big gun in your top 3.
Ovechkin and Semin get the goals.
Russians rule the world. 2 goals and an assist each for Semin & Malkin... and 4 assists for Bäckstrom for the second consecutive night. He's going to win the Calder barring a late surge by Toews when he gets back, or the voters actually look at a defenseman like Enstrom or Edler. _________________ It's backwards time. |

Seriously, you probably shouldn't have any, but Jurcina and Erskine is one immobile defenceman too many. What, the Nolan Yonkman days forgotten already?
Not playing Malkin in the SO is such an NFL move - playing the percentages but completely throwing logic out the window. In hockey baby, play the hot hand.
Jordan Staal looked great today as well, even if he's not scoring he's hitting people and winning faceoffs. He was noticeable on the ice. Letang and Green are a couple of crazy blue chippers on D.
Ovechkin going horizontal and missing Malkin in the first had me jumping off my chair - what an amazing show. The NHL needs to identify these stars and introduce them to the world. _________________ Beat my drum down in Mexico! To Tijuana, Tijuana here we go!

I always have to do a double-take when I hear them say that name while watching Caps games.
I couldn't watch this one. National broadcast on TSN. At least they had this one televised nationally, it sounded like a lot of fun to watch
Jordan Staal was hitting people? I thought Marc Staal was the only brother who did that? _________________ Bring back the old OTP!
