"In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team."

*kick in intro music!*

It was the A Team 25th anniversary a few days ago and I watched the Family Guy A-Team episode last night , it fits perfect with the Canucks current dire situation.

BTW, for all you Canukleheads who were crying about Henrik being named an All-Star and Daniel not... Daniel and his wife were expecting his second kid this past weekend. Think that might be a reason why he was so ungraciously "snubbed"?

I mentioned that here, atually... I imagine it most likely was the reason.

But I don't recall anyone here crying...

Gibsons?! Both Sunshine Coasters and Islanders would no doubt be appalled! As a part-time Coaster (in that my parents have a place in Gibsons), I feel I must intervene!

Willie Mitchell is an Islander, Port McNeill's finest (along with that really big burl), while Gibsons' finest is baseballer Ryan Dempster.

Yep, I was at that game -- first regular season match in Shark history, at Pacific Coliseum. Have a commemorative puck and everything.

I acually played for Gibsons at a spring Tourny in Sechelt one year. my buddies family is from gibsons and they were sick of losing to the Inlet Riders. A few of my other friends came along and Gibsons won the tourny. we're not allowed back in the tourny. Had a great time at the Crows Nest. I think that's what it's called.

Well done! Very Happy The only Gibsons bar which I've frequented more than once would be The Blackfish, of which I'm quite a fan. Sechelt has a great place (the Lighthouse Pub) on Porpoise Bay, too, with an amazing view of seaplanes coming in to land. It looks scuzzy from the outside but is gorgeous once you're in there.

VHF, yeah... if not right in Port McNeill, then in Port Alberni or something. Perhaps he'll surface and let us know...

Islanders and Coasters are a strange brood. I heard that The Sunshine Coast was teeming with MILFs.
Most of the people that I know from there are a little odd, they carve shit out of tree stumps and have a lot of crystals and pyramids in their fucking lives.

I lived on the Island in Sooke for a number of years just up the road from the 17 Mile Pub. Interesting place - lots of hippies, loggers, fishermen and new age types.
