Henrik Zetterberg will play against the Coyotes in Detroit Wednesday night. He is returning after suffering from recurring back spasms which caused him to miss two recent west coast games and the All Star Game.

Scored a goal in his return, a cheapie from the corner that went off of a Coyote and past Bryzgalov.

Only saw replays of this tilt due to my work holiday party. One goal was a deflection by Holmer on a Lidstrom point shot, the third a Lidstrom point shot with Holmer causing shit in front of the net. Ozzy stopped Doan on a breakaway with 30 seconds left to preserve the win.

3 more points and +3 for the best defenseman in the league, giving him 49 points in 52 games and +43 so far on the season. The +43 already ties his career-best, and if he keeps up his scoring pace, he could eclipse his career best of 80 set in 05-06. Hopefully this will be the year where he finally gets legitimate MVP consideration.
