After all the bitterness he still feels from 93, I'm sure it took him a lot of personal malaise to say that. Fuck him, we'll win regardless of who jumps on the bandwagon. Nobody believed in this team except for us, the real fans who watched this team grow first-hand.
We knew Komisarek and Markov were the best d-pairing in the Eastern Conference - they didn't believe it.
We knew Cristobal was for real - they didn't believe it.
We knew Andrei Kostitsyn and Tomas Plekanec had the potential to become dangerous scorers - they didn't believe it.
We knew this team was bigger and more physical - they were sticking to their assumptions from the late 90's.
We knew this team had good character guys - they bitched and moaned about Kovalev.
Fuck the bandwagon jumpers, fuck the loser magazines who predicted the Habs would finish 14th - you don't know shit about hockey, and you couldn't find the one tranny out of ten whores, let alone tell a contender from a pretender.
