Wow. That was an incredible performance. Scary thing is, other than the OT goal (Smoke lets him go, Markov stays high, and Komi is left with a 2 on 1 down low), there wasn't a lot that could be done to stop him.
What a gutsy comeback, though. That kid line really sparked it all.
Both Kostitsyns scored, marking the first time since 1974 that brothers had scored in the same game for the Habs (that would be Frank and Pete back in '74). Gui had one of those games that he's having with a bit more frequency... good domination down low.
In OT, I knew Ovechkin was the only one that could beat us.
This was the first time in a LONG time that a superstar just dominated us. Guess it was overdue.
