Up 2-0 on the Rags after 1. Two Rozsival penalties, two PP goals.

We've got a live one, boys and girls.

The 3rd should be great.

I think he will get 10 games ... And even that may be light.

This game is getting chippy. Another highly entertaining game from the fun-and-gun Canadiens.

Komisarek on Jagr was awesome. Ditto Bouillon standing up to noble warrior Colton Orr.

We'll win this game - we've had at least twice as many chances as them.

I had some serious man-love goin' on there. Komi on Jagr was beautiful.

Edit - Fuckin' ouch.

Gonna chalk this up to back-to-back games. The boys looked like they were skating in molasses for most of the 3rd.

3rd game in 4 days. These guys gave it all they had. Nothing to worry about here. The Rags had to play their best game of the season just to beat a tired Habs team.

MVP looks like the gayest show ever.

This team needs a bit more grit.

Too much like last year's sabers...

I hope the Rags seriously think about moving Hollweg. I was sick of his shit a while ago, it's getting ridiculous now.

Agreed, 10 games at least. Hitting from behind like that has GOT to be weeded out of the game. If Hollweg was rightfully pissed about the Kovy elbow, then he should've gone after Kovy.

At least the Rags showed they can win from 2 down.

You know, I dig a good fight & the gritty-type hockey player just like the next guy on here does; but it seems that the new, younger group of players breaking into the league now (ok, well the under 30 guys), simply seem to have an overall lack of respect for each other.

It's too bad. Somebody is going to get hurt one of these days & it's not going to be a knee or a few teeth either.

I think the CBC announcers unintentionally said it all: "Hollweg is lucky that Kostsytian is back on the ice". I'll be shocked if he gets 10 games. Actually, I'll be surprised if he gets anything at all.

And as far as the young guys go - why should they show respect? Nowadays - all you have to worry about is the zebras and head office, whereas before you had to worry about the other team too. I know they said Kovy's head was like it was on a swivel - but really, it's nothing compared to before. Kovy would have been nailed then and there - with a bench clearing brawl to boot. Very Happy

Kovalev should be suspended as well. That was a blatant cheapshot.

I don't think it was a 3 games in 4 nights scenario, I just think it's the way the game flowed. The Rags made some nice plays after getting the 2 quick goals in the 2nd. This game could've gone either way, and it just went the Rags' way in the end. Nothing to worry about and it's sometimes very easy to overanalyze things. The Habs had a few chances to bury the Rags by getting a 4th goal and couldn't (both at 3-2 and 3-3).

I'd add one more player with grit from outside the orgnaization to play on the 2nd line preferably, or as E.L. suggested add Jarret Stoll to the mix if he's available (and then move Mad Max or Smoke to a wing position). Other than that, put O'Byrne in on the 3rd pairing and this team is more than tough enough, although Gorges looks tough to knock off at this point. Kudos to Carbo for putting Breeze back in the press box, even though he'll change it back I'm sure after a loss. Laughing
