Seems pretty insignificant typical canned answer to me.
My only problem with it is if they do play "THEIR" game then Atlanta is going to be waiting for that Panic Button to be hit in the third and jump on them.  |

The quote just reeked of something that the Riders would've said the past 5+ years under Barrett/Shivers. And then proceed to lose to Ottawa/Hamlilton/Calgary/Edmonton (whoever the worst team that year was).

Dave Hodge probably hit the nail on the head. Basically, he said the Leafs don't have a problem on home ice, they have a problem playing against below average teams. They get up for the teams that are supposed to be good, but can't summon anywhere near the same intensity and focus for games against the "lesser" teams.
Which brings us back to Ian White's quote.
And hey, I know the feeling. My team just laid a turd last night to these same Thrashers.
