can't Believe Luvah hasn't posted yet with his boy Shannon back in the lineup - hopefully he does him proud!

I'm not actually a big Floppa Fan. If it comes to pass I'm sure we'll have paid too much for a guy who will be broken before the season is out. Sad

The main reason I'd like to see it is it costs us nothing but cash and would give us 2 scoring lines, I really haven't been following vey closely so have no idea what he's asking for. Mostly it was a joke, strangely enough there's no hockey talk over here.

That was an ugly ugly period of hockey. Not sure I'm going to watch the last two periods. Sure the Nucks might come back to win it, but I'm not thinking that's going to happen tonight....

Still... go nucks go.

Well,Every 25 games or so we'll score 4 goals,Problem is,The ghost of Dan Cloutier and Canuck goalies past seem to have possessed Luongos soul and enlarged his 5 hole Shocked

Funny considering what Theo did to Paris Hilton's 5 hole...

It feels wrong to feel good for Theodore on a lot of levels considering what happened in Montreal... and considering he's in Colorado... but I do. Then again, I thought strangely good for Roy for a short while after he got dealt, but at that time, I was numb to Montreal anyways. I haven't been numb to Montreal post-Theo trade, if anything, I'm more passionate.

Nevermind the drunken aside. 6-2. Uh, could be worse. But it goes to show that no matter which forwards are injured, having an injured D is WAY harder to combat. Sure, Colorado is short Sakic, Smyth, and Statsny, but even if the salaries tell otherwise... that's nothing like being down 4 of our top 5 D.

But then... Quennville kept St. Louis competitive one year with 7 different goalies... and another year going 11 deep on D.... guy just has a knack for getting the best out of limited resources. And he gets no Jack Adams consideration. For shame.

Im stoked Shannon is back , he can start contributing to my pool team finally. Let it be known Shannon was an EVEN player on a night most of the roster was MINUS and he played as much as any forward.

Speaking of ice time , why arent the Sedins in the 20 minutes? Raymond had more ice time than the Sedins and Shannon was only a minute behind them. AV should be rolling them on the PK , PP and ES for now , the ship is sinking and conserving the Sedins is useless.

Injuries cant be the excuse last night caz Colorado were missing their core players too. Sure travel can effect them but its one thing to lose 3-2 in a nail biter but that was a shit kicking and they pulled their foot off the gas.

The Canucks man to man coverage and play was as brutal as I ever seen it in the last 2 years. Everybody lost their puck battles , puck pursuits and were like headless chickens.

Colorado deserved it easily.

the white porcelein really threw me off initially , I thought I was looking at a chocolate dessert or seomthing ,took me 4-5 seconds on a sunday morning to click in.

Yeah , perfect picture , thats exactly what this game can be summed up in one picture.

Good thing the Canucks waited until the game was well out of reach before turning it on in the third. Rolling Eyes

Looked like men against boys out there... sigh.

I was watching the first two periods without sound -- what happened on the third Colorado goal? It looked like someone got away with a high-stick on Ritchie.

That's exactly what happened,IMO that was the turning point of the game,Wolski I believe brings the stick up and just misses taking Ritchies eye out,No bullshit,The cut was just below his eye,Anyway I'm screaming at the ref,(Cause I got tired of screaming at the Nux)and the fuckers score,(no freakin call, and blood and everything)If we get the PP there,Maybe it is 2-1 or maybe 2-2 (cause it would be 4 min.) instead of 3-0,The funny thing is,Our PP actually produced last night so maybe that scenario isn't that far off Mad I guess thats how Buttmans NHL works in todays world,Screw Canadian teams every which way you can Mad
