How many points back do we need to be before we become sellers? could be exactly what we need.

I don't think we really have to become sellers no matter what happens this year,We already have a lot of dollars coming off the payroll anyway,So unless Nazzy will waive his no trade clause than we don't have much to sell although we could concievably pick up a nice draft pick or prospects if Nazzy were to comply.I just don't think we need a complete overhaul,I think we just need to up grade the offence through the off season free agent market.

Any Sportsaction players out there (where's the Freak?), Blackhawks pay 2.50 on the Oddset.

I think Toews might play tonight to boot.

what else is there to add? just win Canucks?

Im gonna throw my 2 cents into the lines, this is what I would try tonight

Sedins Sedins Naslund
Pyatt Shannon Linden
Raymond Kesler Burrows
Cooke Jaffray Cowan

Ohlund Edler
Bourdon Salo
McIver Weave... assuming nobody is coming back tonight.

I was happy to finally see Cowan take a seat , now its Ritchie's turn to sit. Shannon played alot of centre , put him with two big men via Ronning. Try Jaffray in a defensive assignment and ease Raymond's roll a bit and let him ride shotgun with Kes and Bur.

Im not trying to predict the lines , this is simply what I would do if I was making the lines.

Sedins Sedins Naslund -Skill Line Pyatt Kesler Isbister-Size Line
Raymond Shannon Linden-Speed Line
Cooke Jaffray Burrows-Grind Line
Ohlund Weaver
Bourdon Edler
McIver Salo... I don't think McIver and Weaver should ever be allowed on the ice together

Nazzy was exactly what I was talking about, although aside from Luongo I'd listen to offers for anybody

If we can get something for him than great,Otherwise I say try to resign him for say 3.5 mill and hope that he feels embarrassed enough by the last 3 years to take the paycut,IMO He is worth it at that price,Anything more is too much.

that go ahead goal by Chicago was the biggest kick in the nards I have felt in a long time for the Canucks. So relieved to get the W.

At least they bounced back with a spirited effort and looked liked they gave a damn about last nights' loss. There were some great hits in this game. Fun game to watch despite that kick in the balls goal by Chicago.

3 day break , lets hope we can get Miller and Mitch back soon and by soon I mean thursday.

All I ask is put Shanny with the Sedins on the PP please!

Well, I was pretty impressed by the 'Hawks. They look like a good, young skating team. A little more grit perhaps and some experience (dumping the perpetually-injured Havlat would be a start) and they should be right there.

I thought most of the team played pretty well; bad luck on that second Chicago goal - very lucky bounce for Chicago. Bourdon looked solid once again; he looked like an experienced pro out there - a good #4/5 and I was happy to see him in the OT; I would have liked AV to use Salo/Edler and Ohlund/Bourdon and skip Weaver (I don't think McIver had a shift after the first period, did he? Laughing ) completely, but I guess he played ok. It's clear that Bourdon's skating is one of his strongest assets... Naslund had a lot of jump; backchecked well all night and very deserving of that goal. I thought the PP had plenty of chances to score but just couldn't come through. And that was by far the weakest shit I saw on Daniel's OT penalty shot - WTF was that? Was Edler on the ice? They should have given the chance to him...

Good to see Luvah's boy, Shannon, finally show what he can do... Laughing Who did AV send to Anaheim for him?
