Here is a bit more background to Luvah's update:

Elliott Pap wrote:
Barring setbacks, injured Vancouver Canuck defenceman Willie Mitchell is expected to rejoin his teammates for practice Tuesday and then play Thursday against the Minnesota Wild.

Mitchell has missed 10 games with a stress fracture in his lower back. Kevin Bieksa, who has been out since Nov. 1 with a lacerated calf, may also practise Tuesday although he is farther away than Mitchell from game action.

[...]

The Canucks, of course, have also been without blueliners Aaron Miller (ankle) and Lukas Krajicek (shoulder). Bowness had no further updates on their status.

"If Willie practises Tuesday then, yeah, he should be in the lineup Thursday," Bowness continued.

"If he's ready to practise, then he's got to be ready to play."

Bieksa began skating Feb. 1 and, according to Bowness, feels he is ahead of schedule. Bieksa will most likely be sent to Manitoba for a couple of conditioning games before he rejoins the Canuck lineup.

I wonder if DN is keeping this close to his vest at least until after the trade deadline, since it could undermine his bargaining position... If other GMs know he's down another forward, and therefore, possibly even more desperate, they could demand more... Just a thought.

Well, the silence about this, as they say, is deafening. It looked like he had a nasty shoulder injury. Mad

they're being hush hush on this. AV and Tamby gave no details yesterday. They're trying to sound optimistic and say he's questinable for Nashville. I havent heard if he's in a sling for anything so maybe its just a bruise.

Just heard on TSN that Bieksa has been assigned to Manitoba for a conditioning stint, and they hope to bring him back this weekend to Vancouver.

Things that are good to see:

1. Little bunnies frolicking in the meadow

2. People coming together to save the environment

3. This:

Not with those jerseys Smile
This is most awesome news,Getting BXA back will be absolutely huge and seeing Bmo on skates is another bonus.IMO,Bmo has been very very sorely missed,I hope Nonis is smart enough to offer him a decent enough contract to keep him here next year Cool

apparently Pyatt's shoulder was ok , it was a head injury , he said he had his "bell rung" , but he's ok and he's playing tonight

Miller is still in a walking boot , his timetable is unknown still.

Fixed... Krajicek is gone until October, probably.
