| Not bad, he's been a very pleasant surprise. Given the inflated market I'll take it. I'm more taken aback by the extension given to Tyutin (four years, 11.375 million) than this...IMO he's done nothing that warrants pay on that scale. |

Tyutin has looked good whenever I've seen them play. They need his physical dimension on that team, especially since he can actually skate.
Girardi seems very non-descript to be getting virtually the same contract Komisarek got last year.
