Apparently John Liu gave a report that said "Hossa's equipment is still in the Visitor's Locker Room." Laughing

FYI, Atlanta plays Montreal tonight.

There's no rush. He's already in town. Laughing

Which rumored deal to people think is better?

Ottawa: Vermette, Schubert, Foligno
Montreal: Ryder, Lapierre, Grabovski

People will see Vermette and think he's the best player involved out of the six, but Grabbo and a scoring Ryder might be better fits for the Trashers.

Vermette has the tools but he's wildly inconsistent. Not sure he'd do much even with Kovalchuk. If you're looking for the trade that best fits the Thrashers, Grabo is an excellent choice to play with Ilya, Ryder can add scoring to the second line and Lapi is a future shit disturber/heart and soul guy.

If I'm Atlanta I don't want to deal with Hossa and Heatley being on the same team now and me with no star to show for the whole cluster !@#$% I have made of it.

That said I like the Ottawa deal ever so slightly, only because I've soured a little on Higgins this year. But if Higgins gets back on pace I once saw him then Montreal's deal. close either way

My buddy's bro works for the Sens. He said that Vermette has crazy skill, but is weak as hell. He's far too easy to knock off of the puck.

YAY!

That means he will be spending more time at his cottage - right down the road and on the same lake as my parents!

It also means another flag change at his place and on his boat!

Very Happy

If the price was any one of Latendresse, Higgins, or Chipchura then the price was too damn high.

Was that an E.L.5, or only an E.L.3?

I could explain to you exactly what happened, but it's much more interesting over a beer.

I will say this: Waddell told Gainey one thing and did another.
