Info on the bag of pucks going the other way still pending.
Good move for both sides. Gill was great on the PK and under-rated, but he is still a bottom pairing guy who was earning over 2 mil, and the Leafs had to clear salary somehow.

Gill doesn't suck and on a team like the Pens he can not only be effective on the PK but as importantly keep more offensive minded weapons off the ice at that time.

Gill's GA/60 on the PK was about 200/260 of people playing over 2 min/game on the PK. The only guys worse on Toronto were the Woz and McCabe.
2nd and a 5th is a good return.

Who is pretty much who he played with most of the time.. I'm not saying the return is not good it's fantastic I suspected a 3rd. what I'm saying is Gill is not as useless as some seem to make him out to be and think he may be a decent fit for the Pens.
