Nucks @ LA Kings

Tale of the Tape

- Nucks are 0 for 3 against the Kings and been outscored 12-7 over those three games. If they had won those three, they'd be sitting atop the NW right now. Mad
- Don't expect Crawford to use Cloutier in tonight's game - he's .803 and a 5.76 GAA over his last three starts. Mad
- #11 Anze Kopitar >>> #10 Luc Bourdon. Mad
- Fuh-Kelay. Just win, dammit. Mad

So if they miss the playoffs, after next season Nonis will sign their backup goalie...Cloutier? Laughing

Good thing the Nuckers have 2 games in hand on Col and Nash...

Labarbera and Aubin were the goalies for LA in those three games... Not sure I get what you are saying here... Not crediting LA's goalies here at all so much as slagging Vancouver's past crappy play against the Kings...

Vancouver needs to win more than their share of games from here on out. And with the last nine games coming against NW opponents, they need to win games against the Pacific division teams that are below them...

I was just alluding to when they lost all 4 games against the (backup)Curtis Sanford-led Blues in the 05-06 season, missed the playoffs, and then signed him as their backup this season. I know Clouts hasn't played against them, but I figured it would be funnier mentioning him rather than Aubin. Cloutier's contract is also over at the end of next season, so that fit too...

I'm sure Cloutier will be bought out before July 1.

Unless Sanford is asking for a big raise, I can't see DN going to the FA well for a backup; he's got your boy, Drew McIntyre in Manitoba ready to take that role if Sanford is unaffordable, and since they need to get more playing time for Cory Schneider with the Moose, they might just do that anyway.

He ruled. Took the Blades to Game 7 of the WHL Final before Tucker, Iginla and the rest of the Kamloops Blazers sacrificed babies to Satan and won. At least that's how I remember it ending. Mad

In retrospect, that Blazers team was pretty good:

While the Blades team was all D with a bit of Wilmwolf action:

The question should be whether or not Lombardi gets the chance to buy Clouts out before he's shitcanned...

God, they let Taylor ruin the team from top to bottom for how long, they should at least let Lombo have a chance to work his magic long term. That is his specialty... and the Kings are in great shape prospect-wise.

US679 never told us that he won some Memorial Cups with Darcy Tucker.

Nobody told me that our Beer League team was renamed to Ingolstadt ERC.

I can just see the dry-erase board in the Nucks' locker room: "Shoot from center ice, aim for his five-hole, shoot from every conceivable angle in the last five minutes, yell "Cloutch!" when he's handling the puck and you're behind him, and swap out his water bottle with one that is filled with regular beer."

So much for Bourdon showing us why DN drafted him before Kopitar. Weaver blows goats.

Sask due to the thread hijacking, should we name the thread "Maracle on Manchester"?
