The line of Brunette-Sakic-Jones did well, with the rookie netting his first NHL goal and two assists against a Thrashers team headed south fast.
No Forsberg again and apparently Foote just wasn't ready but was in the lineup anyway. Avs are now tied with Calgary for 1st in the NW, though the Flamers still have (I think) two games in hand.
Thrashers at least got goals from their two new kids, Erik Christensen and Colby Armstrong. Atlanta has the potential to be something great in 1-2 years, assuming what few prospects remain pan out and Waddell is summarily booted during that time... |

How nice of Sakic to get his first points in 6 games when I sit him Oh well, at least Boyes, the guy I put in for him, did almost as well... _________________ Bring back the old OTP!
