In addition to most definitely not seeing that, I'd think that's the type of thing that someone watching the film over the last 45 years -- or, say, the people in the car -- might have noticed.

As much as I believe the Warren Commission was a shiite piece of investigation - comparable to this steroid investigation and the "research" papers I'm presently marking....... the limo driver? THE LIMO DRIVER? What next? It was Kang and Kodos?

Ruling out one person on the basis of a lack of evidence (and general absurdity that such could go undetected at the time, let alone for 45 years of film-watching) doesn't mean that we purport to know who did it.
I'm also pretty confident that Stonehenge wasn't built by Kentuckians. That doesn't mean I know who built Stonehenge.
