Fridge, Simon and Boogaard all dressed for Minny tonight. I guess we didn't get the memo that Cooke was traded.

I know eh? There's a lot of muscle dressed for Minny. Great pace to the game so far.

Good 1st period. Very quick. Nucks getting into a bit of penalty trouble toward the end though.

Fun game to watch. Both teams battled hard. I thought the Canucks deserved the win, but hey that's not the way it looks on the score sheet.

I thought that the McIver interference call was poor, but it didn't seem to kill our momentum Oh well, last night the call went our way, tonight it went against us. Bummer.

So many chances for the Canucks to score what appeared to be gimme goals and no flashing lights

I think that both teams looked good and a matchup in the playoffs would be thrilling.

Oh yeah, and Salo is looking better and better.

I'm surprised that there were no scraps.

Great game - I thought the Nucks looked stronger, but the Hockey gods saw it the other way. Sad

Backstrom really played well for the Wild tonight and, of course: gotta gotta gotta stay out of the box!

Despite the loss, it was good to see Vancouver pressing and pressing hard... These two teams, after all, are mirror images of each other. Great goaltending, good team defence, opportunistic scoring... Their games will be defined by, "First goal wins." Mad

Liked how Luvah's boy, Shannon played last night; he used his speed and quickness on the forecheck very well... Kinda reminds me of a low-rent Marty St. Louis or less gritty Theo Fleury.
