| God, why is it that I dislike every single one of those bands? I saw most of them. I met some of them. I don't disagree that some of them were talented but they just didn't scratch my back. Gandharvas had some brilliant musical and vocal moments but the lead dude has the whiniest voice I have ever heard. |

JONOVISION! J to the ROC! I used to watch that show. I remember an episode where a hypnotist convinced a Nirvana-obsessed girl into thinking Kurt Cobain had come back from the dead. _________________ I need a vacation, sigh

I heard K's Choice and Tripping Daisy on that station today...then heard that it was 90's weekend

| Rusty? Man, I never bought their albums but I remember hearing they were supposedly great. Then my friend got one and it was all fucked up with nothing but random noises. Apparently they released a ton of those. I think he returned his and was able to get something else for some reason. |

Pavement is good. Malkmus & the Jicks are pretty good, but no Pavement. Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain is ridiculously good.
Actually, all their albums have unique appeal, and so does Malkmus' post-Pavement stuff. You always got something different. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. Cut Copy - In Ghost Colours
One of my favourite bands making music today. Not sure if this album is as good as Bright Like Neon Love, but I'm liking the further integration of rock and dance sounds. "Unforgettable Season" is an early triumph from my first listen. _________________ I need a vacation, sigh

A song to get me pumped for the playoffs. If your team has as much passion as the Style Council's pianist, they'll be in good shape.

This song gets me pumped too. Can't get enough handclaps:

The Big Blue Ball thing is leaving me emotionless. Better than a lot of UP, similar to OVO. _________________ I need a vacation, sigh

The new Troubadour album. Never thought I'd get into a George Strait album, but this is a good record... |

Yeah, it's funny for the whitest man in Canada to be listening to Gil Scott-Heron, but to me it's beat poetry on par with Kerouac.
