After four days up with Detroit, Igor Grigorenko was optioned back to Grand Rapids. Grigorenko has chosen to return to Russia to find a team to play with this season. Grigorenko hopes to return and land a roster spot in Detroit next season. In other news Dalas Drake will return to the lineup on Sunday in Vancouver and Hasek will make the western road trip although he may not play. Jimmy Howard will be the primary backup and may start a game.
