Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

As predictable as the thawing of the snow, March Madness is upon us once again. I also follow CIS closely, and this year's tournament was awesome because Carleton took one on the chin (finally). Sadly the Stingers didn't even make the big show, as they were upset badly in the provincial tournament.

On the Yankee side, no Vermont this year, Juan Mendez is long gone (still dig Niagara, but they're not in) and poor old Colorado State is not even in the top-150 schools (Laughing), so there wouldn't seem like much for me to root for this year.

Wrongo!

Davidson, located in Carolina (where else?) features two Montrealers - Max Gosselin and Will Archambault - from the South Shore's Champlain College (I didn't go there). Only 1 700 kids attend Davidson. They face Gonzaga in the first round - gimme the upset baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Onions, baby freakin' onions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who are we??????????? The WILDCATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UNC, UCLA, Stanford and Vandy are my choices for the Final Four.

My potential upset teams are Butler, Baylor, Oral Roberts and Davidson.

The only match up I'm having a hard time deciding on is the eventual 2nd round Clemson/Vandy match. The winner of that takes the bracket, I think.

Mother-fecking USC messed me up and so did Arizona. So far none of my upset picks have worked out.

Oh well at least I'm avoiding the very bottom of my office pool, unlike the previous two years... Mad

What a game by DAVIDSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stephen Curry had 40 points, he's incredible. Jason Richards and Curry work so well together - every time Richards made a quick out pass Curry was there and open. Gosselin had a good game too, netting 7 and snagging 3 boards.

Next up is the winner of Georgetown/Maryland-Baldimer.

LISTEN UP GAMBLERS: Davidson will beat Georgetown.

Much better than his bracket, that's for sure. Laughing

In all seriousness he's doing great, thanks for asking.

ONIONS! BABY FUCKING GOD DAMN ONIONS!!!!!!!!!!

The Wildcats were down by 17 at one point, and they come back to upset the Hoyas 74-70.

Stephen Curry was a man possessed in the second half. He's got 70 points in 2 games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You watch Davidson and they play such a great transition game. Quick passes to open guys and Richards and Curry are magic together. Gosselin had another big game, getting 6 boards. Archambault missed two big three's and spent the rest of the game on the bench.

End of the line for the Wildcats but not before two major upsets, and losing to the Jayhawks by a bucket. Should have won that game, actually, but they squandered 16 seconds by telling Curry to attempt a shot even though he was double teamed. Dished it to Richards and he took the losing shot, but by then it was too late to set up properly.

Still, the Wildcats were a treat to watch an major congrats to the whole team, they brought a lot of character to a March Madness where the no. 1 seeds have mostly destroyed the competition.
