Come on, Detroit... give Chicago a little something. 2 games? Let the Hawks win.

F that. I'm going to be at the Joe on Sunday, and I'm going to jinx it here of course but in the 4 Wings games I've seen live, I've never seen them lose.

When we won in 2002, we limped in with a couple of stinkers to end the season against the Blues and went on to win the Cup, so maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing Confused

The Hawks should roll over and let Datsyuk get to 100 points Very Happy

Hudler gets a hook and then Chelios starts raping Kane in the corner with cross-checks. The refs give him way too much leeway, Kane slashes him back, then Chelios goes to work again. 5-on-3.

Apparently the crew backing up the announcers counted 7 cross-checks Laughing

Man it'll be good to have a competitive rivalry again...

Scratch Sundin off the list.

Cleary stopped on the breakaway.

Cujo might have. Played 15 games in 89-90.

Franzen crushes Sopel and Johnny T picks up a hooking penalty.

Lidstrom with a nice little backhand sauce, Zetterberg settles it down and then buries a slapper by Khabby.

Brind'Amour

Methinks the Wings had better hope to hell the Hawks don't get that 8th seed...

There Sask, the Wings showed the Hawks some love. Now the Hawks will have to earn it at home against Nashville tomorrow night. That will be the deciding game with both shooting for that 8th and final spot.

Nashville plays tonight, so they have to lose that game for Chicago to still be in it tomorrow. If both Nashville and Vancouver lose in regulation (I just posted this in the Vancouver forum), Chicago can make the playoffs by winning their final two games. In other words, they'd control their own destiny.

We still might need one more showing of mercy!

BTW, I do hope the Hawks win out. I'd love an Original 6 first round matchup. The two city's would be going nuts. This asn't happened since the Red Wings beat the Hawks in the Conference Finals in 1995. Go Hawks - Go Wings.

I don't! We fucking suck against the Hawks this year! We've lost as many games to them this year as we have against everyone from either of the other 2 divisions. And Pierre Maguire still thinks we're overrated "because we play in an bad division." Look at our record, knob.

Vs. NW: 15-2-3
Vs. PAC: 15-5-0
Vs. Chi: 2-4-1

No, I do not want to face the Hawks in the first round.

Actually Sask, Chicago is 3 behind Nashville, so even if Nashvile loses tonight the Hawks, still dont control their own destiny.

Yeah, they do, because Nashville's last game is against Chicago.
