And that, ladies and gentleman, is a wrap. 4-1 Caps win, they're still in 9th, but are tied for the #3 seed and just 1 point below the 7th and 8th seeds, 2 points behind the Sens. We'll see how the other teams respond to this. A loss by any of these teams could be enough to be knocked out... and Boston and Ottawa play each other once more.

God Washington, pleeeease make it into the post season.
Ovechkin is by far the greatest thing on ice right now. I love the fact that he goes totally nuts not only when he scores but when his teammates score, whenther he's on the ice or on the bench. |

Wow, these guys are last year's Canucks -- out of it at the midway mark, then a tear down the stretch to take the division.
And, not surprisingly, they're also my team for the playoffs...

I don't ever remember a coach who took over a team from a fired predecessor that won the Adams, so yes I do think there is some doubt in him getting the nod.

| Alex the great in the post season where he belongs. This guy is hands down my favorite NHLer! He bring passion and excitement to every game more so than any other player out there! He should easily win the Hart no other teams top player has single handedly done so much for his team! Huet and Kolzig a great tandem in net for a layoff drive as well |
