Well, one team's goal will fail tonight. Buffalo is looking to keep their slim playoff hopes alive, and Montreal is trying to keep nearly equally slim hopes of taking the first seed in the Eastern Conference alive.
Michael Ryder is the latest Hab in the infirmary, and with Mikhail Grabovski under quarnatine, Matt D'Agostini makes his NHL debut. He's somewhat similar to Ryder in how they were projected as prospects, let's see if D'Agostini has what it takes to follow in Ryder's footsteps.

D'Agostini looks like a GTA meathead type.
I mean that in the most complimentary sense. Every team needs a few OHLers with 5th grade educations who can wheel, hit, and will put winning over even his own welfare.
This team needs Steve Begin far more than we realize. When he was out, our worst shifts of each game were after we would score - we would always seem to let our guards down. With Begin coming on the ice after a big goal or after a PP, he gives our team a jump and we continue our momentum. I'm really glad he'll be ready and healthy for the playoffs.
Buffalo looks DOA. Enjoy your summer.

Good show. Took a 4 on 3 situation that a desperate Ruff made a 5 on 3 with 9 minutes to play (pulled Miller) for Price to finally give up one.
Sorry Buffalsugs, but you had your chance.
Hopefully this is only the first of five eliminations at the hands of the Habs this year.
