I was going through those BTN stats earlier and was strictly looking at penalty kill numbers and was really impressed by Mike Grier's numbers, and he's always struck me as a very good defensive forward. This was in the Detroit forum when comparing him to Datsyuk as a candidate. I didn't realize how bad of a season he had 5 on 5, though.
Patrick Sharp... who would've thunk it?
That being said, I doubt he'll win.

On the ice for 9 shorthanders for, and only 10 PP goals against, is mind-boggling. I don't know what the hell is up with him and Zubov.
