Sorry I didn't report it earlier...Mike Haynes, former radio voice and current TV play-by-play man for the Avs is undergoing major surgery on account of a brain aneurysm. In a classy move, John Kelly, the former Avs TV guy who left to take over the same duties his old man once had with the Blues, will fill in.

Odd.....I noticed this last night and couldn't put my finger on it.

Well Peter Gammons of ESPN had something similar happen to him a year or so ago and he made a full recovery, so there's certainly hope.
I wish it were under better circumstances, but it was great listening to Kelly/McNab again last night... |
