I don't expect to buy one from anyone here, but may as well use this forum.
Are these not made anymore?! I got my old one for only around $30 a few years ago. It conked out a few weeks ago, and both Home Depot and Canadian Tire only have plain old incandescent lamps, with the Home Depot guy telling me they don't even carry these kind of halogens anymore. Has anyone seen one of these around somewhere?
You know, the ones that look like this:

I think my girlfriend or one of her roommates has one. Can't say that I've looked in stores for em though, sorry dude.
Have you tried looking at any lighting stores? _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

If you mean in person, I don't have a car here, and what few there are (in all of Ottawa there are approximately 5 stores of any stripe) are in the 'burbs. What I've seen online, they're waaaay more expensive than the $30 or so I paid at Canadian Tire in 2005. _________________

That one's straight from my living room!
Not mine, though, don't know how much it cost. I prefer my furnishings from the 1970s. _________________ It's backwards time. |

I thought they did still make them, I always see a few at Home Depot...
Just make certain when you do get one it has a grate or some protective covering above the bulb, the older ones made with the bulb exposed are a bit of a fire hazard. |
