WOW.... the goodbye song already? Don't you idiots remember how we tooned you 6-0 in Game 1 before losing in 7 on Zednik's goal?
This is why I hate Hab fans. Absolutely morally bankrupt, top to bottom of their sorry carcasses... |

Habs take Game One. Never even close.
I honestly thought the Bees put an ok effort, they're just horribly outmatched by a faster, stronger, smarter and more talented team.
Our best players didn't even do that much, we're really rolling four dangerous lines right now. _________________ Beat my drum down in Mexico! To Tijuana, Tijuana here we go!

Sure helps when you get phantom calls from the zebras, and we have what little scoring we have out injured...
We beat you 6-0 in Game 1... a little premature to write this off... |

We had 2 unsuccessful PP's through the first two periods.... yep, that's a lot of phantom calls giving us a lead.
We're running without a 2nd line centre (literally, S Kostitsyn has never played centre unless he did in the 3rd tier Russian league we drafted him out of) and it's still a dangerous line.
Anyways, I don't like that Kostitsyn made that hit on Chara, but Chara looked right at him and went into the boards and put himself in that position. Kostitsyn still should've held up, but Chara knew what he was doing. A 2 minute boarding call would've done the trick, he didn't run him.
You guys had 18 shots, only 5 in the 3rd period. I don't think this one was determined by anything but the play on the ice.
Markov was named the 1st star, Hamrlik the 2nd. Neither had any points. Tells you all you need to know about this one... GREAT defensive effort all-around. _________________ It's backwards time. |

See Tuzer, if you watched anything other than your own team getting run out of their own building on a nightly basis, you'd realize that when we hit the Habs, we take penalties or put ourselves out of position. When we take penalties, they go on the PP. When they go on the PP, they score. Often. Without fail. So, as much as we'd love to hit them, we need to do, or not to, that which is needed to win games...
The Habs run us when we're vulnerable. No honour in that... |

I actually agree with a lot of that. Chara seemed to know exactly what was coming, and probably oversold it too. But he still got hit from behind. I think they were both wrong, honestly...
Chara is obviously favouring his shoulder. Whether we could handle the Habs at full strength is immaterial; we can't do it with half our talent hurt, either playing or not. No sense risking Bergeron's long term health when Montreal is full of dirty, dishonourable (but talented) players. Overall Montreal was far better on the night, no question. This one was over 2 minutes in. Forgive me for being a tad prickly about the subject...
And yes Stink you will owe me a pint of Keiths... |

The Razz chronology is parody, right? Some kind of self-referential post-modern irony, or something like that? _________________

Tim Thomas is giving those f'n morally bankrupt Habs fans some credit for the first goal:
http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/hockey/bruins/view.bg?articleid=1086445&srvc=bru&position=4
| Quote: |
MONTREAL - It took Tim Thomas [stats] 33 years and 360 days to make it to the playoffs.
And it took him all of 34 seconds to get his baptism by fire.
On what looked like a harmless play, Patrice Brisebois fired a shot that Aaron Ward hit with his skate. But there are no harmless plays for the Bruins [team stats] at Bell Centre. Thomas could not control the rebound and Sergei Kostitsyn zipped in and tucked it past Thomas for the 1-0 lead.
The 21,273 in attendance can claim a piece of that first goal.
“Ward was in front of me and the crowd’s so loud, he couldn’t here me yell ‘Screen!’ so I didn’t see the puck until he stuck his foot out,” Thomas said after the 4-1 loss. “That was my first indication of where the puck might be going. He kind of deflected and I double-pumped because of the deflection and Kostitsyn was on the rebound quicker than anyone could believe.” |

Sort of. Ward made a dumb reaction which I doubt he'd have avoided even if he did hear Thomas. Thomas did a great job stopping the first shot, and someone, maybe Metro, left the Ruskie to tap inthe rebound.
The crowd has an effect for game one, that's it... After that the players get used to it... |

Great article, it makes the Bruins sound like a bunch of fucking pussies. The big bad Bruins getting manhandled by the frenchie-euro Habs! What a turn of events. A noble warrior like Cam Neely must be sick to his stomach to see such a bunch of preening gutless nancies prancing around in the spoked B.
The unfortunate thing is that whoever the Habs face next (assuming they can beat this team of ice capades wannabes) will undoubtably be far tougher than these mincing fops so hopefully it doesn't come as a rude awakening. Chara is clearly done but hopefully some real Bruins like Lucic and Thornton can step up the physical play and keep the Habs ready for real playoff teams. _________________

The truth is that the Boston Bruins are not a playoff team. They'd better given up their spot to Carolina.

You neglected to read the game plan - lay off the physical stuff so as to cut down the Hab PP's. Obviously the game plan was flawed , but that doesn't make them pussies. Nice try though...ass. |
