| Samsonov, the 1998 rookie of the year, is getting booed again. Even some of the empty seats are booing. Samsonov entered this season with 32 goals in his last 137 NHL games. One reason is he will not take the puck to the front of the net. He is the only small player who got worse after the lockout. And to think, as I write this, he is only 28 years old, 28 years old and finished. |

I was wondering how well he was doing, hadn't heard a thing about him so far in Chi-Town. |

Read on Spector how Samsonov, Yanic Perreault, and Rene Bourque have been healthy scratches lately. I think DN needs to get on the horn and pry Perreault loose... _________________ ... Because the old one, is well, old.

Perreault is a "you know you're out of ideas when..." type acquisition. Rene Bourque wasn't a healthy scratch, he was an unhealthy scratch that wasn't put on the IR. _________________ It's backwards time. |

The man was a friggin' ALL-STAR last season! An all-star!!!! He's clearly one of the top forwards in his conference, whatever it might be at a given moment! _________________

Samsonov was a healthy scratch again tonight! I really thought this kid would have a bit of a revival in Chicago.
Perreault played tonight - under 10 minutes of ice time though however (same w/ Lapointe! ) There's no denying he's the best of the best in the faceoff circle, but Chicago also has ex-Leaf, Kevyn Adams, whom is also among the leagues best in the faceoff circle.
This team does have a good group of centers; I'm just hopeful Havlat can get in 60+ games this season though!
