I don't mind booing when there is a history between a player and a team/fanbase but this whole booing a player just because he is the other teams biggest name is lame.

Even though the Oil are not my favorite team, I'll still boo Pronger and Comrie for as long as they play in the league when I'm attending a game in E-town.

And I reserve the right to yell whatever I want at Stortini....fuckin' pussy.

Boo whoever you want - this is sports, not an elementary school talent show.

Since when did everyone become such prudes?

I got annoyed as hell whenever the lame-ass Kings fans would boo Blake every time he touched the puck. Avs fans fought back the right way though in a cheesy sort of way...there were a few games we cheered him whenever he touched the puck here in Denver.

It is strange...the Habs fans booing Chara, made me think there was a reason other than him being the Bruins Captain....apparently not, unless I missed something.

It used to be, community hatred was a thing that had to be earned Laughing

These are the same fans that started singing the goodbye song in Game 1, what do you expect? Hab Nation is a clown show, no one else does this with such consistency...

I don't know... any nation that would have you as a member must be the biggest clown show there is.

When Fedorov left the Red Wings, I would scream YOU COCK SUCKING SON OF A BITCH at the TV every time I saw him. Nobody heard me except my cat, Elvis, and he just looked at me like I was a dork.

In response to Chara being booed by Habs fans, simply because he's a Bruin
Captain for Captain, I believe is the logic there

Sure and I'm not defending the Habs fans here. But Razz's "Habs fans are shit and Bruins fans are good" doesn't work.

They paid for the ticket, they can boo whoever they like
I just didn't know whether or not there was a history with Chara, I guess not

I think I remember hearing someone say it started after he elbowed Kovalev one game, but I don't think that's why people still boo him. Laughing
