Damn, that sucks dude Mad

Oh yeah in the semis yesterday morning, I busted out a classic, picture-perfect 2-pad slide to stop a guy on a cross-ice one-timer. I was pretty proud of that stop Very Happy And that's easily the most dashes I've ever used in a sentence.

You have health insurance?
At this point, I'd be saying anything to get the surgery done
"Yep,it fucking hurts ALL the FUCKING time! Don't tell me it's not necessary!"

Stack Pads Bosc.

I dont even remember the last time a stacked the pads. It's been a very long time. It's one of those saves that looks great if it works and at the same time putting u out of position for the rebound.

We won our semifinal 6-2 and the finals are tomorrow with the Regionals to hopefully follow the first week in May.

What's MSP? I thought Canada had free national health care?
Or is that what MSP is? (well by free, I meant your taxes pay for it)

sorry, i thought you were from the great white north, Medical Service plan (as its called in BC), its the basic insurence that every canadian gets. its not FREE free, we pay 54 bux a month but it alot better then USA. We get free emergency care (ie, appendix exploding), and if we need a new knee, hip etc we get put on a waiting list and they are usually 6-8 months long. So something for a groin surgery i would have to wait for up to a year to get. Unless i want to pay 7-8000 for it at a private surgery centre.

Ball Hawk season now so I have brought back the pad stacks and scissors save(when you do loss the rebound post stack and know the guys going to go high). Though I also have retired the move from my ice game as I heard it is a only used by "fatso" keepers with any rate of success. Oh and Bosc who clearly is not in that group and is having success.

A 1-0 win in the Final. We shutout the Whiterock aces for the 2nd time in the playoffs. Onto the Regionals now. A 3 team round robin style format with the top 2 teams playing in the Final. The winner gets $1000 travel voucher towards North Americans in San Jose. We won last year so we already have a $750 tourny entry covered plus $1000. We can have a total of $2000 if we win again. Looking forward to the game on Thursday.

so looks like i may have to go under the knife now!! went to physio yesturday, and my physiotherapist conceeded something bigger might be the problem. So i have to go get an xray to make sure all the cartilage is still there, and then after that, i have to get and MRI to look at the muscle tissue! wow! so much for "your not in the nhl, no surgery for you!"

Played in my 2nd and 3rd Platinum League games last night during the Avs loss. Our team was told we had to move up a level or risk being broken up...unfortunately a vast majority canned out anyway so we got broken up despite our best efforts. Platinum league is fun, though I'm struggling a bit to keep up, I'm sure I'll be fully adjusted come playoffs. Laughing

Funniest part of the night, during our 2nd game, what ended up being a win, one of my teammates fires a harmless wrister at the goalie, which catchest him right in the crotch and he doubles over, writing in pain. Turns out the dumbass didn't wear a cup!!!! Laughing Seriously, ball hawk or not you gotta be INSANE not to wear a cup in goal! He got back up after 10 minutes or so and we proceeded to ventilate him. I kept telling everyone to aim 5-hole. Laughing

Dude I was wearing a standard non goalie cup and took a cannon with a Hockey ball to the crotch and ended up sore for two days...On the plus side maybe removing that guys gene's from the pool is not such a bad thing?

Hey Jeff,

How'd you guys do in your 1st game last night? The guy at work here who plays on the Rangers, plays on Tim's team. He said they got pumelled in shots, something like 35-10,but they still beat Cujo's team 3-2.

He said Tim was awesome.

We lost 4-1. Couldn't get it out of our zone for a period and a half Confused

I took off around the end of the first and didn't see the rest of the game...

It's kind of weird not seeing you at hockey every week now Laughing

I know, I really got used to seeing you and playing our games every week, plus the beer after the game. Cool

Why were you only there for a period?

All I can picture now is the two of you running into each others arms across a wind swept beach somewhere.
