Octopus gets tossed during the anthem. Cody McLeod picks it up barehanded, yells at the Wings and tosses it into the tunnel. Gotta love that!

God damn I love seeing Datsyuk throwing himself into defensemen after they get rid of the puck!

Definitely don't think Filppula was trying to drill Foote from behind, but Foote got turned and Fil put him into the boards. Probably should have been a 2 for boarding.

Cheap hit by Voltron on Foote goes uncalled. Could get nasty in the second.

Fucking A....Wolski down and possibly out for the entire series, no Forsberg again, and now we got Finger in for the injured Hannan. Guess the Hockey Gods are trying to tell us something. Mad At this rate Chris Stewart could make his Avs playoff debut sooner than expected.

Colorado had a really good shift in Detroit's zone but didn't generate any good chances and Detroit escapes unscathed.

Guite just fired it over the glass. Detroit PP.

Franzen again...yay. Singlehandedly made fools of Foote and Sauer. FUCKING HIT THE GUY YOU MORONS!!!!! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Avs are putting decent pressure on the Wings but it's not nearly enough. They gotta get WAY more traffic in front.

Voltron scores a bad goal. Theo definitely deserves blame for that one but seriously, why are the Avs getting beat to the puck on that bounce!? SKATE YOU IDIOTS.

One more goal and I'm watching the NFL Draft. Evil or Very Mad

Colorado with more pressure but no chances. Detroit turns it up the ice, Drake fires a shot that takes a funny hop and Filppula puts it in!

The Avs have been doing a decent job of pinning us down low and taking away the breakout, but haven't generated any offense out of it.

Bad, bad pinch against that line. Detroit turns it into a 2-on-1 and Zetterberg scores a nice goal.

Come on. Don't start the fucking goodbye song.

All right McCarty!!! First tilt since he came back!

Zetterberg scores. Theo pulled again.

Kurt Sauer's been completely worthless in this game.

Avs are so desperate they're starting fights with Darren McCarty...and McCarty's still holding his own. Avs should be ashamed of how completely soft they're playing the Wings. It doesn't matter how well they're keeping it in the zone, pressure means nothing if you're not going to knock some heads in and create some real room and scoring chances.

Bye all. Maybe the Avs can avoid the sweep, though I'm not hopeful.

Budaj is playing well killing off the long string of penalties that his teammates have taken.
