Same lineup tonight as in Game 6. The lineup posted above was wrong because Streit played instead of Latendresse. Carbo is going to live or die with 8 d-men in the lineup.... and all the vets he can handle... other than Ryder, who appears to have played his last game as a Hab even if they do win tonight. Rolling Eyes

A Kostitsyn - Plekanec - Kovalev
Higgins - Koivu - S Kostitsyn
Begin - Smolinski - Kostopolous
Streit - Lapierre - Dandenault

Markov - Komisarek
Hamrlik - Brisebois
Bouillon - Gorges

Price

With a full, healthy lineup, the Habs will go with what works. Same lineup in Game 1 as in Game 7.

Higgins - Koivu - Kovalev
A Kostitsyn - Plekanec - S Kostitsyn
Begin - Smolinski - Kostopolous
Streit - Lapierre - Dandenault

Markov - Komisarek
Hamrlik - Brisebois
Bouillon - Gorges

Price

Well, Breeze has a leg injury, and O'Byrne hardly played in Game 2. I'm thinking that if Breeze is not good to go, we'll see Streit moved back to D for Game 3, and Latendresse or Ryder drawing into the lineup. I'd be tempted to go with Lats and not Ryder.

We need finish, give me The Tenderness and tell him to stand in front of the net.

Christ almighty we've been facing Tim Thomas and Martin Biron, someone pot those damn rebounds already!

Streit at D isn't a horrible idea, he's our best passer back there and we can take better advantage of Philly's slow D with quick transitions out of the zone.

Lapierre did better in the 2nd and 3rd, but I wouldn't be adversed to putting in Grabbo and just pushing the O into overdrive:

Higgins-Koivu-Kovy
AK-Plexo-SK
Begin-Smo-Gyro
Tender-Grabbo-Dandy

Markov-Komi
Hamr-Streit
Boo-Gorges

Honestly what has Lapierre been bringing to this team in the postseason? He's been a major disappointment, as has been that 3rd/4th line in general.

WHOA! Crazy lineup switches:

Tender-Smo-Greek
Streit-Begin-Maxi

I like it. Begin could really kick start that saggy line.

Good in one sense, hopefully Breezer is good to go on the back end (and I realize how ridiculous that sounds). I expect Begin will go back to the Smoke/Greek line if it's a close one and we're leading in the 3rd.

Apparently Breezer didn't travel with the team. Move Streit to D, damn it!

Breezer will be back tonight, and Carbo's sticking to his guns in not saying officially that Price will start until he submits the lineup card.

A Kostitsyn - Plekanec - Kovalev
Higgins - Koivu - S Kostitsyn
Begin - Smolinski - Kostopolous
Latendresse - Lapierre - Streit
