Dandenault is a scratch tonight. Guillaume The Tenderness is back in and ready to pot some massive rebounds.

I passed on some info to Howard Eskin at 610 WIP Sports Radio that Donovan McNabb was caught walking a dog without a leash, so that means the Philly sports nation will be distracted and not thinking about hockey.

BTW, I went to the Benjamin Franklin museum when I was in high school. Other than the room with all the telephones: bo-oring.

The Flyers defence is about as fast as the lineup to check out the Liberty Bell when you get caught behind a big Asian tourist group. Besides, the Liberty Bell has a big, unsightly crack anyways. Anyone in Philly ever heard of caulking?

This is the town that willfully acquired Pedro Feliz, so I'm not worried about the Flyers taking a big swing and a miss tonight.

Philadelphia's mayor is named Michael Nutter. Nice name, Nutter.

Downie proving once again how evolution missed much of humanity.

He would look good on a slab.

Habs hit 4 posts and missed 2 wide open nets in the first. You only get so many kicks at the can, and the Habs blew it big time in the first.

I was watching NBC Nightly News before the game and they had a great story on gorilla conservation in the Congo. I see more intelligent life and humanity in one of those endangered gorillas than I do in that Ontari-redneck. Why do all the trailer park mothers in the Horseshoe insist on chugging Steelbacks during their pregnancies?

No doubt about it, Habs are sucking the big one tonight.

Habs outshoot the Flyers 34-14 and lose. I blame Kovalev - the man has forgotten how to skate.

The reffs were letting the fliers get away with everything - though I'll not pull a razz - they as a whole were the better team.

Though an injury or two to a Cheeze steak right about now wouldn't make me frown.

For fuck's sake. Convert the early chances for once and take a game by the balls. That 5 on 3 was one of the worst ever executed. I don't care about Markov hitting the goal post, or the open net whiff by Higgins. It was horrible. We were given a glorious chance and we blew it.

Kovalev is playing with less jump for sure, but dear God our point men on the PP can't make up their fucking minds.

Honestly, the Flyers have no business being in this series, let alone winning. Price has to save one of those, I don't care if there was something tough about all 3 of the shots, we need just one of those to be stopped.

We haven't had a lead all series, but we should've scored first in all 3 games. It's ridiculous how this series has played out.

The arrogance you guys exhibit is absolutely amazing. The 2-1 deficit looks so good on you and your diving bunch of fairies...

Sask,

Is there something wrong with Price's glove? It looks like he is really fighting it and the Flyers are constantly shooting glove side.

It's not his strength, that's for sure. But it becomes worse if he isn't out challenging the shot more. The third goal was an example of that.

Price, in general, isn't quite up to speed in the NHL (when compared to the best of the best). Because he's so efficient in his movements, he compensates, but part of the reason he doesn't make the spectacular save is because his reaction time is still a little behind other NHL goalies. It's something he'll get sharper with in time, I'm sure, the more used to the NHL he is.

I guess he better work on the glove as teams in the league will figure this out.

Seriously, you guys need to stop blaming losses on poor performances by the Habs and blame it on the refs, dirty play by the other team and missed bounces. Wink

The Flyers are for real, you don't just get handed three consecutive 2-0 leads in the playoffs. But it looked like the Habs came close to breaking their spirit in the 3rd, a nice blowout next game could really put them on their heels.

Agreed. The arrogance of Habs fans is worse than Flyer fans ever will be.

So sorry about that - it's just when your team has won the cup so many times in your lifetime, you expect big things - even if they have sucked for about 10 years or so...

And fliers fans are not so much arogant as ignorant - not you SWF, but others who called Crosby a pussy for complaining after having his teeth broken by Hatcher - or those who think Hatcher is a 'classy guy'. Or anyone who could defend Downie as being anything other than a mouthbreathing troglodyte...

Though considering the actions of habs fans - dumping beer into the penalty box, burning cars, singing during anthems - guess I'm a pot calling a kettle black.

Passion for a team really doesn't bring out the best qualities humanity has to offer...

Methinks the continued postseason highlights of Daniel Briere has been the #1 reason why Bobby Francis has never even gotten a sniff at another NHL head coaching job.

More mental than slow hand IMO. When he uses his glove it looks good to me, just sometimes he has a tendency to B-fly, close the eyes, and hope it hits his big gear somewhere making his late glove movement look like a bad glove hand.
