Chicago Blackhawks winger Martin Havlat will undergo rehabilitation on his injured shoulder and will be out of the lineup for about four more weeks.
Havlat hurt his shoulder in the season opener against the Minnesota Wild and underwent an MRI the following day. It was feared the injury-prone goal scorer would have to undergo surgery and be lost for a lengthy period of time.
But Havlat will begin rehabilitation instead and attempt to play after the four-week stint.
Havlat, who began his career with the Ottawa Senators before being traded to the Blackhawks in the summer of 2006, has had recurring shoulder problems. He missed 58 games with the Senators in the 2005-06 season and three more with the Hawks at the end of last season. In total, Havlat has missed 32 Blackhawks games due to injury in the last two seasons.

It's really ashame that Havlat keeps getting injured. He's one of the most talented players in the league....when he's healthy of course. |
