My mom e-mailed me this morning very tee-hee-like that she knew who the Canucks' new assistant GM would be, because he's a cousin of a friend of hers.
I don't think she realized this story broke some days ago, so I replied, asking, "Do you just mean Laurence Gilman?" Assuming there isn't another surprise in the works, I imagine she'll be disappointed at me having burst her bubble...
