Pretty solid lineup so far:

Nash, Chimera, Staal, Whitney, Toews, Sharp, Doan, St. Louis, Mayers, Roy

Added: Ryan Getzlaf, Dany Heatley, Chris Kunitz and Jason Spezza

Bouwmeester, Keith, Staios

Added: Brent Burns, Ed Jovanovski and Dan Hamhuis

Leclaire, Ward

Added: Garon

Alternates: Mark Giordano and Sam Gagner

Quote:
Hockey Canada also announced that three players from the National Junior Team that competed at the 2007 Super Series, defenceman Logan Pyett and forwards Cory Emmerton and Kyle Turris, will join Team Canada for training camp purposes only.

Kickass! Pyett is a Detroit pick, as is Emmerton, who missed the World Juniors because of mono.

Added the rest of the lineup. That's a hell of a team for the Worlds!

Pyett and Emmerton at training camp sounds like Detroit favouritism. Laughing

Forwards Jarome Iginla, Alex Tanguay and Matthew Lombardi were all candidates, but all their wives are pregnant.

Should have stayed home when Anaheim came to town.

Canada is beating Slovenia 4 - 1 in the third right now.

I think it's safe to say Canada will win/won this one!

here's the live update link for the games:
