| Frankly he should win it. The fact that he has a roster so talented shoudn't work against him. |

I'd have to disagree on this one.....Guy Carboneau is the likely winner. _________________ "Don't think (Stay)

Yet how does one ignore the sudden turnaround that coincided with Boudreau's arrival in Washington... _________________

The voters for this award always like to go for the unexpected turnaround/underdog story of the year, unless it's a completely ridiculous regular season(why Bowman only won 2). I think Boudreau will get the nod. I think Babs would have won had Detroit not had that bad stretch with so many defensemen injured. _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

Actual coaching seems to not be discussed for this award, just a general look at the standings and a lot of "That can't be right! I had them in 13th! Must be the coach!" _________________ It's backwards time. |

Couldn't agree more, that more than anything is the reason why Jack Adams winners usually find themselves out of a job 1 or 2 seasons after getting it.
He's the best coach in the league, hands-down. He should get credit for turning Mikael Samuelsson and Daniel Cleary into viable scorers if nothing else... |

Datsyuk and Zetterberg are the two best two-way forwards in the game thanks to him as well, and have become playoff bohiemeths under his tutelage. Not to mention his handling of turning this roster over from an aging core to a new generation. _________________ It's backwards time. |
