Maybe if this was around the 10 game losing streak, I would have the defeatist attitude. With everything these guys have overcome so far, they will go on and do just fine. I hope Kimmo can come back soon. Get well soon. Hatcher and Coburn will take over Malkin duties. If Parent is in, I can see him and Smith getting Crosby. The team will rally around this I think, that's just me though.
I'm not giving up hope at all.

This team has come back from everything this year. From losing Gagne the whole year, Richards to a torn hamstring and many other things. They've come back in games they had no business coming back from like in Game 5 versus the Habs, like losing 3-0 to Buffalo in the first period in that one game and they came right back. Now, I've learned not to doubt these guys anymore. Yeah, losing Kimmo hurts but they still have the talent to beat the Pens. To have playoff tested guys like Smith and Hatcher, I'll take my chances. I think this team will yet again surprise the critics.

Well... I'm going to stick with my prediction of Flyers in 6 right now, though I'll have a convenient excuse if they don't. I'm not as confident in that happening, that's for sure.
But I do believe it's a bit of a moot point.... the Western Champion will be the SC champion.

The assholes that started the fighting were the fucking Pens, not the Flyers.
The play is dead and Letang hits Upshall? Why? No fucking reason. And that ugly fuck Malkin decides to jump in. That fuck keeps doing that and Hatcher will make him look uglier than he already is, if that's even possible.
They've lost both Game 1's in the playoffs, not a big surprise they lost this one. They will bounce back with a strong effort Sunday night, count on it.

We need to do the same thing we did in period 1 but apply to it to the rest of the game. Which is something I think they will do. We've played badly in every game 1 so far and we've lost. They will and should be back with a great effort tomorrow night. They did have the lead last night. They have to crash the net, make good passes and everyone has to be smart in their own zone. It's that simple. With how bad the Flyers were last night, we only lost 4-2. When we play our hockey, we win games.

The reason for Letang hitting Upshall after the play was blown offsides? I didn't see one and I didn't see the reason for initiating contact after the whistle. I love how the Pens start the scrum and we end up on the short end of the calls. Never fails.
