I agree that it seemed like a no-contest game. I'm obviously for the Wings but I repect Dallas enough to be rather scared playing them.

With each new penalty I screamed "Oh my God...that was STUPID". My next room neighbors must have thought I was a Dallas fan.

On to Saturday...I hope the Twinkles play a good game. I know the Wings will.

I am kind of dissapointed in this series. I thought this one would be different....Dallas is good but they don't even look in the same league as Detroit.

How the hell did retreads like Osgood and Hasek become brick walls again? They need to piss test those two along with that graybeard Chelios.

Brendan Morrow can't seem to catch anyone to hit them........instead he runs over Lehtinen......maybe that's the key here to Detroit......even if you try to throw body on them they dodge it....well hell if that's the case then you might as well just engrave their names on the cup already. Hopefully that 2-hander to Osgood woke this series up.

Stick a fork in this one. So much for the fight I'd thought Marty and Brenden would put up.

The top line had an amazing game tonight. Game 2 though, we only scored 2 goals. I would like to see some more scoring from Cleary-Filppula-Samuelsson in game 4. Cleary had a fantastic playoffs last year and while he is contributing in areas other than the scoresheet, it'd be nice to see him get on the board next game since Franzen is out. We aren't going to get consistent offense from Maltby-Draper-Drake and Hudler-Helm-McCarty(though that line will chip one in from time to time), so some secondary scoring from the second line would be great.

Kronvall is having a hell of a playoffs. Last night on TSN, they were mentioning how Babcock said that Kronvall had been their best defensemen in the playoffs. Miller said they added "you mean after Lidstrom?", and Babcock replied, "No."

Detroit is playing a more highly evolved game than the rest of the league. Usually, in this game, the greatest players have no way of actually teaching their amazing skills to others. Somehow, Lidstrom has found a way.

Yup, Kronwall is playing awesome hockey right now. He looks like he's picked up Lidstrom's blue line walk with the puck to look for shooting lanes and is making good decisions in both zones. Not to mention the huge hits.

Having guys like Lidstrom, Chelios, Draper, Drake...even Maltby and McCarty is like having extra coaching staff. These guys have been there and done that over and over again.

Detroit has rendered Mike Ribeiro pretty much useless now. Dude was in the faceoff circle for 2 faceoffs yesterday.

Damn am I hungover today. Shots of tequila after every goal and at the end of the game along with numerous beers last night at my buddy's house. Playoff drinking can get rugged. I'm supposed to go to Game 5 on Saturday but the Stars do not appear to be cooperating in getting RW admited to the local alcoholic ward.

Hooray...Stars hang on by a C.H. and eek out a victory in game 4.

I think it will be like the Vancouver series last year...I don't see them winning the next game.

Hmm that was an interesting game.....seems to me the Wings took their foot off the gas to close her out at the Joe.....maybe Buttman muttered something about Saturday TV.
