Holy shit, we have a game! Detroit isn't completely dominating this one, and it's tied in the 3rd at 2 after Richards banked one in off Stuart.

Dallas had a great 3 on 2 setup, but the shot by Richards was low and into Osgood's pads. Had him moving, but a poor one-timer by Richards.

Modano has flipped the faceoff woes around single handedly.

And Hudler on the breakaway puts Detroit up in the 3rd. Turco was surprised by the backhand.

Keep padding those stats if you're going to make it quick! My money pool team is trying to stave off the Pittsburgh heavy guy that's left!

Saw replays and some of the third period. Some of the goals were nice. That Kronwall pass to Hudler was a beauty.

Voltron made a ridiculous backhand sauce from behind the goal line just before cutting around the net to Datsyuk(I think) in the slot, but he wasn't able to capitalize.

Who do you have?

Pretty much the entire first PP unit. Cool

Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Lidstrom, Rafalski, and... Franzen. Get better, Mule. Mad

My main competitor has Crosby, Hossa, Gonchar, Sykora, Dupuis, and he might have another Pen. We're both cleaning up. Laughing

This is our 3rd year doing the pool. The first two years, I had the lead after 2 rounds before getting virtually no players through to Round 3 and dropping out of the top 2 spots into the non-money 3rd spot. This year I'm finally going to win something... I have a 19 point lead as of last night.

The first year I went all in on Detroit as well... and got burned. Mad I was gunshy last year as a result, but when my first pick came this year I decided on Datsyuk and proceeded to pick 'em clean.

Nice work, this year anyways Very Happy

Good pick on Franzen. He was ridiculously hot to end the year, and was scoring every kind of goal. I was concerned that he'd tail off going into the playoffs(I didn't want to put him in the Druce/Pisani thread and jinx him Mad ), but he played really well in the playoffs last year, and stayed hotter than I would have ever imagined...yeah, hopefully he gets back Mad

My roommate saw that I was picking Detroit and said "Oh, he's back on Detroit again! They're going out in the first round!"

He went San Jose and Rangers heavy. Razz
