I didn't think she was all that... Maybe I couldn't see past her sluttiness to see her integrity... Were they of the B or C variety?[/quote]
Not sure, but they weren't bad...she showed more A than T for sure, which is probably her better side anyhow. |

Indiana Jones and the bla bla bla
Alternate title: Frank Miller presents Sky Captain and the Crystal Skull, if you catch my drift.
George Lucas needs to stay at least 100 yards away from his films at all times.
Fun story, good characters, fantastic pacing, plenty of one-liners. Just those damn green screens...

There Will Be Blood 2008
Daniel Day-Lewis is great in this. I won't say this is my favorite movie of all time, but it is very good. I'm too lazy to provide a synopsis so here.

Incredible Hulk, The (2008)
Hulk go green good. Smash stuff. Lou Ferrigno does cameo as security guard; Stan Lee does too... Bill Bixby somewhere in there for cameo but me not remember... Not remember make me mad...
Tim Roth good but not Jeff Bridges/Obadiah Stone good. Abomination good effects but not too interesting... Make Hulk mad. Why Abomination so pissed with Hulk? Because Hulk get widescreen chunky version of Betty Ross/Liv Tyler?
Ang Lee movie bites dead bear balls. This movie good but not Ironman good. Cameo by Stark fellow (aka Robert Downey) at end but no Samuel L. Jackson - he maybe too busy making crapfests like Jumper. Maybe leading up to Avengers movie? Maybe team up with Wolverine? Or maybe Marvel cast Thor or Captain America first... Cool references to "Dr. Reinstein's Super Soldier formula" and even an appearance by Doc Samson... Maybe not team up with Spiderman/Jake Gyllenhaal... No Tobey Maguire make Hulk mad.
Next Batman movie better kick ass.

Jumper
I have a soft spot for silly sci-fi movies, but this one is pretty devoid of character and feeling. I was really looking forward to seeing Rachel Bilson playing something other than a valley girl, and it turns out she wasn't acting on the O.C. She looks great and has a few one-liners, but she doesn't sound like a girl from Michigan.
The special effects are pretty cool, but very little is explained, we don't get much back story, and the ending sets up a sequel without providing closure. The movie seriously feels about an hour long. Also, the British Jumper is cooler than Hayden Vader - to the surprise of no one.
On the plus side, I saw the movie on a DLP screen, which is like a huge HDTV. It exposes some of the weaknesses in the special effects, oddly enough. There were also some jaggies on the 20th C Fox logo.

You are far too kind; watched this last night and kept falling asleep; that's two hours out of my life that I could be playing R6V2. What a wasted concept. I agree wholeheartedly that Griffin was far more interesting a character than Hayden Vader.

Stan Lee seems to have cameos in all Marvel movies, but I find it amusing that Ferrigno has yet another cameo, just like he did in the Ang Lee one. I have no idea what he does these days, but apparently it involves taking a phone call -- err, TTY call -- every five years or so to appear in a Hulk remake. _________________

Oh, it should also be noted that he made an appearance in the audience when American Gladiators did a whole Hulk-themed episode.
TTY call... |

He was also the 'voice of' the Hulk in the current movie apparently... Not that he said much beyond, "RUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHRRRR!!" _________________ ... Because the old one, is well, old.

Not that any of you would be dumb enough to plunk down $9 to see this maggot-infested, rancid lard-encrusted, tripe of a movie, but just in case you were even considering it, hear this: Harry at aicn.com (who never has a bad thing to say about any movie) warns everyone to just stay away from the Love Guru. He says it makes the Happening appear tolerable. _________________ ... Because the old one, is well, old.
