Scotty Bowman was quoted in an article today that this version of the Detroit Red Wings was very impressive and that none of his Red Wing teams ever went on a roll like this team has. The article also discusses his friendship and mentoring of Mike Babcock. It also sadly, discusses the illness of Bowman's son, Stan. Who just underwent a stem-cell transplant in hopes of aiding Stan Bowman's battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma.
