So the Little Québécoise and I took advantage of the end of the long weekend and visited Lake Placid, as it's one of the few places you can get to from Ottawa without too much difficulty.

It was bloody cold and rainy (turning into snow -- SNOW! -- for a bit yesterday), but we did visit the site of the Miracle on Ice, which was cool... I'll try to post a few pictures later.

(There are actually two rinks in the complex -- a smaller one from the 1932 Games, and the Miracle on Ice one).
