The man went 3/4 in the last round; I see no reason not to go with these same picks.

I went 3 out of 4 last round, too. I can tell you who I'd LIKE to win...but for me the third round is nail biting time.
My current wish list:
Detroit over Dallas
Pittsburgh over Philly _________________ No one can make you feel inferior without your permission. |

Bosc is the best predictor out of all of us with his sweeps. I'm on the bandwagon. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. But what the hell can I say? Anything that doesn't mention that I masturbate over her memory is probably a good idea."

Who won the whole thing last year? Hipcheck? I think I was only wrong on 3 series last year - Picked Ottawa to lose in round 1 & 2, Wings to win the West. _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

US679 went 8 for 8 in Round 1 last year.... did he fall apart at the end enough for someone else to win? _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. I can't remember how I did after that, since I was so impressed with my 8 for 8. _________________

I won the avatar bet, don't think I did so well in the predictions
I started out ok, but I think I stopped bothering by round 3
I got both this round 8 of 14 overall
As I said in the wings/pens thread.....Wings in 7 _________________ I'm a Bruins fan - don't try to confuse me with the facts |

Am I going to be the lone Penguin?
If so - I will say Penguins in 7 - and the best playoff match-up in a very very long time!
I'm going with the "Gary Roberts needs a Stanley Cup" logic! |

The only thing about this Final that will be better than 2004 is the ratings. Calgary/Tampa Bay is still the recent gold standard for Finals. If Crosby and Lidstrom fight, well... maybe.... _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. But what the hell can I say? I thought that was a great Finals as well. That one had big star power too with Iggy/Kipper vs. Vinny/St Louis/Richards _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

Not to mention Games 5 and 6 going to OT, a controversial non-goal in Game 6 that could've been the Cup winner for Calgary, an unbelievable play by Lecavalier on the Cup winning goal, and a great save by Khabibulin to preserve the win in Game 7.
Both teams played aggressively as well, though it obviously wasn't a wide open affair.
We've had 3 other Finals go 7 this decade, but none of them were as close to as good as that one for pure entertainment ('01, '03, and '06). If it wasn't Tampa Bay, but say... Boston or Philly, people would still be talking about it in the US like they still recall '94. Unfortunately, because it was two smaller markets (though a Canadian one will get remembered up here, but less so since they lost), it gets forgotten. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is.
