Why start this thread? Well... Montreal's ECHL affiliate, the Cincinatti Cyclones, are one win away from the championship!

Cedric Desjardins could end up being Montreal's 3rd stringer next year, so this bodes somewhat well, I suppose. Hey, Dan Ellis won a Kelly Cup when he was older than Desjardins, so it's not impossible...

I thought Toronto was trying to entice Mats to come back with the prospect of playing with Gamache and Kulemin?

The Cincinatti Cyclones win the Kelly Cup, and goaltender Cedric Desjardins is named the playoff MVP. David Desharnais, another Habs "prospect", had a hell of a year taking home the league MVP, Rookie of the Year, and scoring title; he topped it off with 33 points in 24 playoff games.
More importantly, they beat the Ferraro brothers! Just noticed that Chris and Peter were on the Wranglers. Amazingly, they're still playing!
