Fair To Midland.....Fables From A Mayfly.

Like the guys voice...its different reminds me of the guys voice from Flaw. Progressive Metal.

Good CD. Better than most the crap out there now.

Obviously you can give Dance Of The Manatee a listen here:

Reggae mixtape I made myself, mostly Culture, Peter Tosh, Desmond Dekker and the Jonny Greenwood archival compilation from earlier this year. I never listen to Marley - frat boys and stoners ruined his music for me.

Yeah, I have their last album (Skeleton) on my computer as a gift from my sister. They pretty much sound like a Pacific NW indie band, namely Built to Spill. They're alright, nothing special. That album was decent, I really liked the opening ballad "Race You". I haven't heard the new album yet but I feel I don't need to.

As far as Danish bands go, the Raveonettes write much better indie pop. Figurines don't really add much personality to their stuff.

Making a mix for my 5 year old daughter's birthday party.

Is it wrong to put the Misfits' Halloween on there? Laughing

Halloween I of course, not II with the satanic chanting in the background. Rolling Eyes

Luke Bryan "I'll Stay Me"... surprisingly great CD. Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, and to a much lesser extent KU have all laid turds with their latest CD's. This newbie from the south has a killer voice and GREAT material...

New Thrice, just downloaded tonight and it kicks ass! Alchemy Index Vol 1 and 2 Fire and Water. Volume 3 and 4 will be released April 08. Hells yeah! Been a fan ever since the fine folks here got me to listen Vheissu. Although my fav alltime Thrice song is still the acoustic Under A Killing Moon on the Red Sky EP. Apparently they will be the musical guest on SNL this Sat.

Very disappointed in this release. No wicked cool guitars.....no awesome arrangement of music. A very lazy and weak release. Critical Acclaim rocks and so does the Easy song but that's it.

Poor.

Excellent CD. Kind of a cross between QOTSA, April Wine and Priest.....very interesting.

Well I'm watchign and listening to Kissology Vol. 1 1974-1977

Its so bad ass. Its what real music is all about. I've seen Kiss 6 or 7 times, its amazing how much harder and heavier they played back in the day. I mean IDK what they did editing wise to Kiss Alive I and II, but in the actual concert videos the music is grittier, faster, heavier and much better than the two above albums mentioned.

I can't wait to run out and buy vol. 2 I think it has some of their stuff from the early 80's when they were at their heaviest maybe on the "Creatures of the Night" Album. This is just before the take the makeup off. Just after Peter Criss and Ace Frehley leave. I'm itching to see the concert on it from Brazil in one of the big soccer stadiums in front of 300,000 people.

Here's a decent YouTube vid of the Pipettes in action. This song is really sexy.
