Opening day at Nat Bailey last night. Didn't go, but I played at the park across the street two weekends ago. They've done a complete facelift of the outside, murals and everything, and it looks amazing.
Sad we had to lose AAA and get short season A ball before local owners stepped up and spent the money to fix the place up. You'd be hard pressed to find a more beautifal minor league ballpark than that Nat... |

.... Think we all saw this coming except for Schilling & the Red Sox, but it's all but official now. Too bad, as I was still holding out some hope that he would have been back in Sept. Nonetheless, I'm liking this rotation. Bartolo can still throw the ball (if his back doesn't hurt) & Masterson has been pretty kick-ass! _________________

Ricciardi apologizes. When JP gets shown the door at the end of the season, it's going to be tough for him to ever get a GM job again. He's a PR nightmare without the results to back up the talk.
Is he right about Adam Dunn? Yeah, probably, but there's no reason to explode at some fan who called into a radio show and asked him about Dunn. _________________ It seems like you need to be a physics professor to choose the right TV. Luckily, I am one.

| Quote: |
| Ricciardi said on Thursday evening that he called Walt Jocketty, the general manager of the Reds, to apologize to him, and he was in the process of contacting Dunn directly. "I let my guard down" said Ricciardi. "I apologize to him. I have to be better than that … Unfortunately, you get caught in the heat of the moment. I don't even know Adam Dunn." |
Even if he was right, he sure didn't have any reason to have that opinion, if he's stating that he doesn't know Adam Dunn. That's a BS move to chew out a fan like that for not knowing something about Dunn that Ricciardi says he knows and then admits he doesn't know him, and criticize another player like that. JP should fucking apologize to the fan too and thank him for the support. He's a condescending prick to fans and the media. Douchebag. _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

It's official...I won't bother posting the link.
JP knows his time is up and sure enough he played his final card. He should just resign now and save everyone the trouble. Oh...but he can trade us Roy Halladay for spare parts before doing so. |

First Fletcher, now Cito.... the 90s are alive and well in Toronto! _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. But what the hell can I say? Anything that doesn't mention that I masturbate over her memory is probably a good idea."

Problem now Av is that even if the Jays trade him to you he no longer remembers where he is from...or what his name is for that matter.
Actually they say he is fine and will not miss a start. _________________ It's not you Sundin, it's me...please just leave...and don't look back....please please do not look back. |

Shame offense from a pitcher doesn't count in the head to head league. _________________ It's not you Sundin, it's me...please just leave...and don't look back....please please do not look back. |
