This is not, I repeat this is not about saskhab's sex life so this thread is rated "G" and children are allowed to read. Again, now the first month of the season is over which teams are for real and will do better and which will fall to the back of the pack?
Better:
NY Rangers
Florida
Anaheim
Vancouver
Not Better:
Philadelphia
Toronto
Columbus
Minnesota (Already happening now Gaborik is injured)
Los Angeles |

Okay.
Wheat:
New Jersey (they ALWAYS find a way to turn it around)
Calgary (I can't imagine their sloppy D play will continue indefinitely)
San Jose (simply too talented to be this ordinary...fire Wilson already!)
Chaff:
Minnesota (w/o Gabby, this team is just good, not great)
Vancouver (the twinkies will get on track, but I see little else improving)
Los Angeles (LaBarbera will break down, get ready for that Cloutier callup) |

I think the Kings will do pretty good this year. Contend for playoffs.

Teams that will keep up their good starts:
1) Boston. We may well tail off towards the end, what with so many rooks and sophs, but Timmy is for real and Julien gets results, at least short term.
2) Los Angeles. Too much young talent everywhere except goal, and LaBarbera has never had a good team in front of him...
3) Philly. Masterful job of rebuilding quickly, because they had the blue chip youngsters all ready and were able to add both young and established stars. Plus, Marty Biron is an excellent goalie...
Teams that will fall to the back
1) Vancouver. The D is very banged up already and not as good as Luongo made them look last year. Through anything other than rose coloured glasses, the forwards after the first line are piss poor. AV's Dr. Phil routine works for a year or so, but it's about to wear off. Look out.
2) Toronto. It's like Pat Quinn never left. No young talent coming up, star players getting older and older, no goaltending... Yikes.
3) Montreal. I'm sorry, but this team was so-so last year and the subtractions outweigh the additions. I like Plekanec, but Kovalev has never given an honest effort for the full 82 games. Plus they're fooling themselves in goal - Price will be very good, but he isn't just yet... |

SHOCKING that you would think this. I don't know if I've ever met anyone whose heart and brain were the same organ, to the same degree as yourself. _________________

Dude, look at #2 and #3, too. He's full of surprises! _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. But what the hell can I say? Anything that doesn't mention that I masturbate over her memory is probably a good idea."
